In my early twenties, I spent six months in Aotearoa New Zealand and greater Oceania. Wish You Were Here serves as a memoir of that time, divulging my longings for connection with an examination of environmental degradation. Large format images of subtle destruction weave throughout a myriad of pristine landscape postcards. By subverting the traditional postcard with intimate messages and blunt captions concerning climate change and colonialism, this collection reveals introspections on my relationships with people and the planet. It asks viewers to do the same.
