Julianne Aronson is an interdisciplinary student in environmental engineering and art at Washington University in St. Louis. She is driven by a commitment to restore the planet for current occupants and future inhabitants.
Her artistic practice investigates the ways people occupy their physical surroundings, with an emphasis on humanity's disturbance of natural spaces. Her photographic work brings attention to the places in which people are often absent, but their presence is felt.
